My fee is $150 for a 50-minute session. I also accept UC SHIP, for which members typically have a $15 copay.
Please note that I require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. If you miss a scheduled session without providing notice, you will be charged the full session fee.

I accept UC SHIP, which is the insurance carrier for the UC System. There is a $15 dollar copay for clients who use UC SHIP.
While I don’t accept other insurance plans directly, I’m happy to provide superbills that you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend checking with your insurance provider in advance, as not all plans accept superbills or offer out-of-network coverage.

I offer online therapy to clients anywhere in California. I will soon be offering in-person sessions in the Bay Area.

I require an additional monthly parent session to support caregivers in effectively showing up for their teen. To honor the therapeutic relationship, the client determines the content I share —unless there are safety concerns that require disclosure.

What we talk about is private—unless someone’s not safe.
In California, if you’re under 18, most of what we talk about stays just between us. That’s called confidentiality, and it’s a big part of building trust in therapy. But there are a few times I’m legally required to break that privacy. I would need to tell someone if:
I’m really worried that you might hurt yourself or someone else.
I believe someone is hurting you, or that you’re being neglected.
You tell me about another child (under 18) who’s being hurt or in danger.
I learn that an elder (over 65) or dependent adult is being abused.
I only share information when it’s needed to keep people safe—and I’ll always try to talk with you first if something like that comes up.
