About Me

Whether you are seeking someone to bear witness to current struggles or to help process past wounds that continue to shape your life, I am here to provide a safe and affirming space where every part of your story is honored. That story—shaped by both your past and present—holds immense power and meaning, especially in the challenges you face today.

I bring extensive experience working with teens and young adults, having spent over 13 years as an educator and former history and Ethnic Studies teacher. Through my years of work with young people, I’ve come to deeply understand the unique pressures, questions, and transitions that define this stage of life. In the classroom, I witnessed firsthand how stories—both personal and historical—can be powerful tools for connection, identity, and healing. This deepened my belief that sharing and reclaiming our narratives can be a transformative part of the therapeutic process.

I am a white, cis, culturally humble therapist committed to deconstructing harmful societal narratives and exploring what it truly means to heal from them. This work includes continuously evaluating my own positionality and how it impacts our relationship. Through my years in education and mental health, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they explore who they are and who they want to become. These experiences have taught me that healing often begins with authentic connection—meeting others with love and compassion in a world that often rewards disconnection and self-protection.

My approach is grounded in empathy, honesty, and curiosity. I deeply value the richness of your identity, culture, and lived experiences. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and past experiences that may feel overwhelming or limiting, working toward greater clarity and meaningful growth.

I can be gently direct at times, helping to bring awareness to the ways these patterns may be showing up in your life today. My goal is to support you in cultivating a more grounded, authentic sense of self—one that allows you to move through life with greater confidence, calm, and self-compassion.

It’s an honor to get to do this work with you.
